This stone is a striking yellow-green-black. Yellow turquoise is named thus, because it appears in the same mines as turquoise. It is actually a jasper with hematite webbing. The color spectrum is from yellow to green. The bail is made of oxidized copper. The pendant comes on an 8mm braided black leather cord 46cm or 18” long, with a magnetic clasp. The stone is 56 x 49 mm and the total length of the pendant is 91mm (3 9/16”)

Foldforming is a thecnique that imparts a lot of strong texture to a piece of metal. Combine this with some stamping and colored patinas and the resulting surfaces are very unique. This sterling silver cuff has a foldformed- stamped cabochon and band. The cabochon was treated with 2 different patinas to obtain the blue-green pigmentation. The foldformed copper band on the cuff was left untreated, to attain a natural aged patina.

This necklace is a simple and striking way to display a large gemstone donut. Using only “cold connections” like rivets, staple and crimps we will make a unique sterling silver two-piece riveted bail, with a hand stamped design. The silver bail can be customized by using different stamps or texture hammers on the metal. Changing the shape of the cutouts along the edge for other shapes as triangles or ovals, can also make each pendant unique.

1- Handmade artisan earrings in sterling silver and jasper. Lovely red, orange and gray jasper rectangles suspended from long sterling silver triangles, hand-textured with overlapping dots. The silver has been treated with a darkening patina to emphasize the texture surface. The ear wires are long curving hooks in sterling silver. Very easy to put on. The stones are 34 x 12 mm (1 5/8x ½”) The total length of the earrings is 45mm (1 ¾”)
